idk how you guys feel about googles new logotype but holy fuck imo that looks terrible...

i swer sometimes google is a massive hit or miss...

The thing looks like it's a logo for a childcare home or kindergarten, and the edges of the proper quality version are all dithered and distorted lol...wtf google?

I'm not one to make a massive deal about these things and hate on shit, but fuck this just takes the cake...

Apparently it's to make it easier to read for people accessing Google via smart phones. If they can't see it properly then they ain't that smart i.m.h.o.

Logos are just advertisements. Love, or hate it, it did it's job of getting people's attention. There's an old saying about publicity- "Say what you want about me, just make sure you spell my name right". Are you a cockholder... er....sorry ...I mean stockholder?-- I love Chrome, G+, translators, all the apps. Google knows everything about me, owns my soul, and I don't care. Free shit. Better than a fox humping the planet logo of that other cool browser.

 

I dont like it, and even though it's a slight change it will annoy some people.
people like myself who have been using google since the late 90's and little changes are just annoying.

this looks like a childish font to me, or that theyve just made the other one bold but whatever.

You just created attention to it's new look, which in turn, created a little free advertisement for them (you got us all to respond to your post not to mention the ones who didn't respond). They're not stupid. In fact, they are currently the smartest coalition on earth, and to be employed by them, it is a prerequisite.

it looks like someone with their head tilted back and their mouth open wide, just like the "e" is puking after realising how stupid the typeface is.

both of them were a joke, everyone hated the new cola ....
