it looks like a LOW tom over a 808 kick with long decay, and he's tuning down the tom...

 

They're called " bigroom tonal kicks" you can find plenty of them in some specific packs, labeled as EDM Tonal Kicks , Festival Tonal Kicks, etc.

 

have some tonal kick sample, but doesn't sound like showtek/martin garrix :/

 

A simple/short (pitch enveloped sine) kick + Portamento'ed and lowpass enveloped distorted supersaw bass

Showtek went to a Pensado's Place episode and explained a little bit how they made that specific kick. They used quadrafuzz and they explain that the sub's frequency is sweeping down

that's true, it's really a shame that doesn't work in 64 bit daws (Jbridge doesn't work)

 

Theres always Ohmicide, Fabfilter Saturn, Fxpansion Maul, etc etc

 

I know, but there's some nice phasing going with bands and overall character, even on default it's just that quadra thing, I think there should be a club for us quadra lovers, one is at Isratrance because of signature full on bass, but yeah, all mentioned plugins are great, would add Trash to that bunch too.

 

Isn't there a new Quadrafuzz 2 which comes with Cubase 8 or i'm wrong? Did Quadrafuzz 1 was ever a separate vst2 plugin which you could use in any kind of daw? Or still the same Cubase internal format?

 

Yeah, they realized how many of us love it and made a smart choice in 8

There's one version they pull off, think it's v1.01, some use that, you can find it around, it looks like this

where can i get quadrafuzz? i did googled around but it saids discontinued, and the latest version only support cuba 8?

Here's the legacy Cubase version from Steinberg's ftp

Only legal way is to buy from someone who has it (v1.01) or use above posted with any Cubase

If you want to know where you can find that old v1.01 that works with any DAW for demoing, try on 4shared, that's all I can tell you, just checked, it's still there

 

I seem to remember reading these OhmForce Guys made something exclusively for Joel (Deadmau5) before Melohman came out, but it's based on something very similar.
