I hope you are enjoying the new look of the site as much I do.
I think the pain taken is completely worth. I love the new display and extended features.
I also like the size of the forum, not a massive place, still with this number of users by which people can be identified. Love how cosy it feels!

I just have a little remark on the edit functionality of any given message.In the past, messages could have been edited at any time. This gave certain flexibility to posters to correct mistakes (notional, grammar, whatever the level). Currently, the edit feature is still present, but it has an expiration time of 5 minutes!. I hate the clock ticking, 5 minutes it´s too short...what if I want to add something else, 20 mins later?.
This constrain is also present in PMS side of things. Well, there precisely in my personal domain, I can change my mind so much, so I would like to have the same level of flexibility I had in the past.
Please can be the edit time set to a longer value, or to none?

It makes me really happy that you're enjoying the new site and all the extended features. We've actually just implemented a lot more and I'll be making a post today or tomorrow to fill you guys in. As you've already noticed, we've rectified the edit time limit that was making life difficult for you, so now you can rest easy and edit to your heart's content whenever the mood should strike you. Enjoy.

 

Our hearts are taken by the minute nuances in mood. That little fix means a lot if someone wants to be fair-minded.
Looking forward to seeing new developments in the show.

 

I suggest to be able to edit PMs as long as the receiver didn't read it. If he does then someone shouldn't be able to edit it again, he/she can always send a second message to clarify his thoughts. I'm saying this because time is a proof and is really important in a conversation that took place between two people. What if someone was engaged in a trade and his interlocutor changed the conversation afterward because he didn't want to respect qui word ?

That's a different thing when the conversation takes place in public comments. I think you should keep that in mind.
