    ok,
just found this gem on a "sonic academy tutorial making house 2015" with THE BIG HOUSE producer
    Rene Amesz.

i guess he didn't have time to move the folder elsewhere, or, he did it on purpose to make people talk about him, or, he doesn't give a flying fuck about it, because, with +600 items on Beatport, he will crap on anyone's comments and face.

and thinking that sometimes, i feel bad, because i didn't give 100 or 200$ to the devs of a particular plugin that can be replicated and sold 1 billion times at no extra cost, that buyers can only use under strict nazi policies, a plugin that people might not be able to use 1 or 2 years after purchase, if no new version is released for the new OS, unless they pay for the new v2 version.

should we really feel bad about these fuking plugins we don't pay for (some), that we may only use 20 minutes a week, in a non professional way/goal,
when guys like this, who probably make hundreds thousands per year, with beatport alone, + 10, 20, +30K for djing 1 or 2 hours, several times per month,
don't wanna spend the fucking 300$ on Nexus2 , and instead, download a warez version. mind boggling. really.

it's then easy to imagine that he probably removed other cracked plugins from the vst folder, and he probably downloads Terabytes of sample packs, too.

That reminds some tutorials of eddie thoneick, who had hundreds, even thousands of sample folders, many named sample.-company-.best.of.soul.house.2013 or sample.library.great.house.kits.from.heaven.2012
    those .dots. remind me something...

yes but devs always thinks sharks are people like us and not those who have money and can afford ...i would never bought some tools i have right now if it wasn't for people like AiR, R2R and others to give me the time to know the plug ...but when i see people like this i feel a bit of anger, he can surely afford much more than i could ever afford ...speechles :snuffy:

PS: really id make an archive of all these proofs to stay in here so everybody can see ...thats how angry i feel

Yeah this is the Martin Garrix thing all over again. If I can buy the stuff I need and use with regularity, so can they.

Personally I don't look to what other people are doing to define my sense of right and wrong. Some of us don't have the money for everything we might use but so long as we support the creators of the releases that we utilize regularly then I don't see a problem with it. I generally live my life by two principles. The first is: I try to treat people how I'd like to be treated. The second is: I try to do the best I can with the cards that I'm dealt. Those principles are what matter most to me and greatly simplify my decision-making process. [IMG]

@Catalyst sure, at the end of the day, it'a all about how we feel inside about what we do to us and how we behave with others and what we feel is correct or not.

i made the post, so a few thousands "small" guys can see that we shouldn't be ashamed of downloading and installing a warez app or plugin.

if i post a screen capture of my pc , running a warez version of nexus2 , and there is my full name and phone number on it, i am sure i will get a phone call or email, from refx, calling me a thief, with the "bible of copyright", as text, all that to make me shit on my pants.

but if they see this guy has downloaded, and surely, has installed nexus2 Airiso version, they will all laugh and say "hey, the great artist and house producer rene amesz is using one of our products. ok,it's a pirate version, but it's fine, he is a great artist, we respect him, let's give him a free full bundle of nexus+all expansions, for free. with his talent, he deserves that"

what kind of pisses me off, it's not the fact that he is doing warez: he is free to do whatever he wants, it's his life.
what i find not correct, is, once again, the more people have money and are rich, the more they will try to save money, pay less taxes, etc etc, when, the poor guys, those, they are forced to pay for everything, and often they pay for the more rich ones.

I actually don't know who that is or if he is even using Nexus in his songs, but maybe he thought about buying it and decided that it would be better to test it first?
Maybe he forgot his iLok somewhere or something similar? Unlikely, but possible.

You mentioned that he earns a lot of money. Now think about this way: if he makes so much money why shouldn't he buy a legit version?
Maybe he just played around with it and decided that it's not worth his money because of it's limitations?
Or maybe he is using the cracked version in every song and is simply a dick?
We don't know and to be honest should we really care?

I'm sure that at least 99% of producers did use warez at some point, it's just easier to spot if some famous person is doing it because everybody is literally watching him.
(I think even I have a cracked Nexus somewhere on some old HDD, but do I use it? hell no :bleh:)

warez release are the most important form of ads for small soft company, who suffer from warez are the biggest ones thus ilok crap etc
if you use warez stuff and you like it, you will talk about it to your friends, forum, colleagues etc
nothing is for free... enjoy your warez release and don't think too much of hurting developers...they don't.
