I have spent so much time trying to get this to work I just don't know whats wrong. My omnisphere stopped crashing and I got the response code in and it is showing as invalid since when I restart omnisphere it asks me to enter it again.

Anyone had this issue or have any idea what I might do to fix it?

the response code and challenge code I get are the same each time.

I am using the dynamics download. there is a license generator that came with it that I can't open because it says I am missing files

The R2R version (2.0.3d) is the one that worked. It was a separate download from the discs..
Also contained hexwars keygen.. Essentially you would swap out all the plugins for the ones from that download (R2R) and then register. 270Mb Hope this helps

I used 2.0 version. Thats probably why.

where can I find the version you speak of? I didn't manually move any folders myself.

Swap out what folders? What are they named so I know what to look out for?

thanks so much for the quick response!

It's a quote pulled from Andrew's stellar review of Mural that was used for a banner on the Spitfire Audio website. Excellent library for sure, highly recommended. [IMG]

    Zach

Did I read you were using XP still?

If so, Omnisphere 2 isn't supported. Look on their website.

Minimum Specification is Vista / Win 7

Are you using DYNAMICS' release of Disc 1 or R2R's? You should be using R2R's so if you're not then try again and report back if that solved your problem.

I reinstalled with the r2r d1 proper and it still shows up the same.

there has got to be a simpler way to show omnisphere where the library is, right?

What mistakes might have I made along the way that are small? it feels small.

I got it figured out by fixing the steam shortcut in the program data (hidden) folder. it was routed to the wrong location.

    now hopefully my final issue:

everytime I load a new instrument, I have to move the omnisphere window to be able to get it to play. How can I fix this?

Whatever YOU choose when you install is the correct hierarchy for steam folder i choosed G:\Plugin Content\Spectrasonics and i always have choose a different drive then the system drive for content for all my plugins and programs
And it is very few developer that dont let you have the option to install both program and content wherever you like.
Thats why you have to click next so many times when you install stuff because the installer ASK where you want to install stuff like the vst 2 x86 & x64 and the content etc etc
By deafult the installer suggest an option based on that you only have one drive that is not partition:ed and even then you can choose to install it on a different folder
So to sum up there is no correct hierarchy

As a side note, I opened Omni2 yesterday morning and it was asking for activation again. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

ran the keygen again for the response code and it is now ok. DAWs do not have access to interweb, so not quite sure what has gone on here?

    (I see gremlins)
