    this track has a very interesting feel that I've been mesmerized with for quite some time. Id appreciate it if someone could help me understand it more...

    Very peculiar, the video too.
    Maybe just varying time signatures or tempo automatons.
    Or maybe the producer decided not to follow the grid.

    3/4 or 6/8 time signature. Your DAW should be able to switch from 4/4/ to 3/4 time sig.

    Would you say the bass line has a triplet feel? Ill experiment with those time signatures, If anyone knows any other songs like this that aren't 4/4 id love to hear more. Its difficult to get a smooth feel outside 4/4 but with the right samples its magical!
