unfortunately i only discover now that Intakt/kompakt librarys loaded in kontakt only load the samples but doenst load the factory effects?

if i need some effects (reverbs/delays/etc etc) i have to made them by hand?

any work arround about this?


i use old librarys like:

EWQL Colossus Library

EWQL StormDrum Library

EWQL Voices of The Apocalypse Library

just to mention a few...


and the samples sound terrible... becouse the factory/preset effects are not loaded , only the samples are loaded


and the worst is... i dont have the keygens anymore so i cant go back to old Intakt/kompakt players

anyone here is facing the same problem or have a work arround to make the Intakt/kompakt librarys sound good in kontakt ?

Haven´t tried those Lib:s with v 5 yet i have v 4.1.2 and 4.2.3 and v 3.5 installed so i mostly use one of those and v 5 only for Lib that require v 5 to work.
And it should not be a problem to fix your problem.
As you can google for the keygens
About a year ago i downloaded a big zip file maybe 500 gb that only have keygens for many old EWQL and other products i think it´s still somewhere on the internet.
And i believe you also can dl only the installers for those lib:s as you already have the content.

 

thanks Guitarmaniac64 the keygens are easy to find on torrents but the installers dont... moust of the products doenst have website anymore

the only solution i found is keep using the librarys on kontak 5.01 and make my own effects for each instrument(its hard like hell)

 

do you have a cracked version or a paid one?

if you use a cracked version, just to mention it in case, I had lot of issues with kontakt 5 by DYNAMiCS with old libraries
and went back to ASSiGN's version....everything works fine again!

 

Couldn't you use external effects like Sound Toys delay and Lexicon reverb?

 

I have a similar question:

I use EW Orchestra and when I load patches using the default player that comes with the library it takes a lot of memory and processing, but if I use Kontakt, the patches are loaded in seconds. Am I missing something by using Kontakt instead of the Kompakt player? They sound the same to me btw but haven't analyzed the sounds thoroughly or thought about doing so before reading this thread.

 

the problem is not the activation , and yes i use in PC the assign version (the dynamics version doenst activate the librarys, asks for serials)

ps: for MAC i use the dynamics version and all librarys get activated (incredible they made a good crack for MAC and a bad one for PC LOL )

yes i can , i can even use the normal kontakt 5.01 effects but i have to add them one by one and configure them (thats a lot of time wasted , thats the point...)

thats strange... i agree kontakt 5.01 is 10x better and faster for sure! (intakt and kompakt players are outdated and discontinued, and off course full of bugs)

but kontakt doenst load the effects on the instruments , thats the point of this post


when you load the librarys in the original players you get rich sounds full of compressors/reverbs/delays etc etc all already done, but when the same library is loaded in kontakt 5.01 you only get a poor dead sample (you have to work alot the make it sound good , its like making a guitar scratch sound like a string, its not so drastic but its close you get the idea)



looks like i have to start making preset effects for all my librarys becouse i dont use/have the old original intakt/kompakt players and keygens... (and i use MAC and PC many of that releases are for one plataform only and kontakt 5.0.1 is now the best option for the 2 plataforms becouse i only need the librarys folder)

im using in PC the assign 5.01 version and in MAC the dynamics 5.01 version , all librarys get full activated by default not need for keygens or original players

 

as you have the assign 5.01 cant you install assign 4xxx as well?

That would certainly be less work than looking for all those keygens again......

 

the problem is not the version of kontakt... the problem is KONTAKT

the original players are INTAKT and KOMPAKT , so the librarys will never load the default presets & interface in any kontakt version...


ps: im solving the problem deleting all my old librarys and replacing them with new (similar) instruments for kontakt... 300GB downloading at this moment...

 

Good luck with that dude. I just compared the Silver library in Kontakt and Kompakt and other than K4 being slightly loud, I couldn't find any difference, guess in this case the library doesn't use any effects by default. So I'll be using Kontakt for the awesome loading speeds.
