Ok...this seems like a bug to me.. let me know if anyone else experiences this. Whenever I draw automation for a track, it automatically changes every track in the edit window to "show/hide automation" ON. Shouldn't it only change that one track's view state? Not all of them? Then, since there is no way to select multiple tracks and turn off "show/hide automation" , I then have to go to each track one by one and right click and turn off "show/hide automation" just so I can see the mute and solo and faders again. This is especially annoying when I have a lot of tracks obviously. Having to go to each one and change its view state. Is there any way to disable this? So that editing automation doesnt change all the track's view state?

Easy way to recreate this issue.... in your session click on any parameter (pan, volume, etc) . Drag the hand tool to the track to edit automation. Watch every other track in your session change to "show/hide auto" ON, effectively changing all the tracks view state to show auto on.

Any help? Am I missing something? Or is this a bug? Thanks

I'm not sure if I understand right, but I recreated what you're saying and you can just click on the automation icon (to the right of the wrench) or simply hit [A] key on your keyboard. No need to do every track one by one.

Seems to only turn on show automation when you drop the hand on top of a instrument/audio track instead of "between" and on it's own automation track. Other than that I can't see any way to make it not turn on show automation every time.

This is the right button. It enable/disable automation view for all track. If you want more control over automations, tracks show/hide just open the tracklist and play with settings to taste

p.s. Keyboard shortcuts could be differents.

Thank you guys so much. I feel pretty silly that I missed that. Just switched from Sonar. I really appreciate the help as always!

Nice channel.. one interesting tip that isn't mentioned in the manual is if you see a place to input frequency in Hz you can type in a note eg: A4 and it will put in the Hz for you.

It's useful in stuff like the tone generator if you're trying to make for example a Cb sine wave for a sub bass and have no idea what frequency Cb is you can type Cb1, Cb2, Cb3 etc..
