Yes in short don't bother Batch compressing as no real benefit. You can simply Batch Resave in the location where the library already located. Example hit Batch re-save, choose library folder & hit save. Kontakt will then check for missing samples etc. ONLY DO ONE LIBRARY AT A TIME

HOWEVER huge point if u decide you are going to say move the location of your library say from internal to external drive you can get all sorts of problems.

If you are on Legit Kontakt say a registry entry is created that lists the location of your library and references it to the drive it located on. You can also check this in the service centre if u so wish.

Therefore if you simply move all your libraries from say C Drive to external Drive Y for example Kontakt will lose all your libraries as in the registry they still located at C even though now in reality they are located at Y if u get me.

Solution is to manually re-link your libraries if you move them and THEN Batch resave them.

Another method is to use regedit to find the location of your libraries. It will say C drive as that's where you initially installed them & the reg entry was created.

Then move all your libraries to say Y and in regedit manually alter the registry key from C to Y.

Open Kontakt & bingo your libraries will still be there.

Then simply Batch resave to link and speed up loading time.

Also be aware that moving libraries also destroys any information in the Quick-load tab as all the quick-load tab does is create a shortcut to the NKI's in the library.

Therefore once again if you move them you will need to remove them from Quick-load and manually add them once more after you have moved them and batch re-saved them!

This should in theory drastically increase loading times.

Almost instantaneous if u have a fast drive and they are not huge libraries.

    Any problems just shout

Hi guys :) I'll post here cuz it's the right place I think: when I save a custom nki within a library, what's the best way to save it? "absolute sample patch" or "patch + sample" (not Monolith cuz nowadays almost every commercial library is bigger than 1.9gb)

Clandestine, nkx files are encrypted archives. They may contain uncompressed or compressed samples.
    They're not compressed by default
