whenever I try to use (cracked) Serum it gives me this activation screen:



and opens a browser window with a link to the product's page...

When I use the keygen it works for a very limited time but soon switches back to this activation request...

Anyone an idea?

I am on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

You really think the programmers of the crack implemented a timebomb? that would be the worst crack in history.
I had problems like this from the early beginning of the k'ed version of serum and didn't really had the time to "try" it out.
For example I would like to know if it's still so cpu consuming...
If you don't have a solution please don't bother writing anything in here...

 

the programmers of the crack didnt make a mistake as it was for v1.0 and all those latest update uploads are from some people not from any teams , (you seems to have not much knowlegde) , the developer changed and updated the protection against the older keygens , and the developer definetly have the rights to do this . and the keygen won´t be updated i´m pretty sure .

the only solution for you are go back to an older version or as some other people mentioned in here (which you gave the Disagree or Dumb Rating) are to buy it to own and get the latest version with an true serial

I mean... yeah... If I would be writing in the official xfer board, trying to get support for cracked software... ok that would be super rude and I would expect comments like "stop cracking, start buying", but come on... every second commenter on here act like they bought every single piece of software they use and just registered here to blame people that use cracked software.

I wouldn't ask those questions in this forum if there was just one release of xfer serum on audioz left cause at least one commenter just recommends buying the software, without giving a solution.

Thats why I'm acting rude.

And I'm only rude to people that came here to spam "don't use cracked software" because cracked software is why most of us are here.

It's not and never has been just about cracked music software. Theres many more forums devoted to musicians teaching others and helping others with problems than are about warez.

Also, there is a general consensus that most of the smaller developers deserve to get paid for the stuff they make. So if you can find something that works be grateful and if you cant, best start saving up, find an alternative or spend a couple of years learning to program and write your own software.

 

My Answer to you , for now there's no fix for this new protection unless One of the finest Groups Release Something for that & I Doubt That Since All Groups Are On Strike Till further notice ,if you can't afford it use sylenth1 or massive or other plugin
If you can afford it buy it , Cause i did bought it since last year (by the way steve offers the update for free)

Actually this isn't a board to talk about cracked software, it's an audio forum. We simply allow conversations involving that subject so long as nobody links to or requests warez. Don't pigeonhole us into a warez community because AudioSex is far bigger than that one subject. There are plenty of members here that don't even use warez and legitimately own all of their software. Everyone has a right to recommend whatever course of action they feel is appropriate for the situation. Therefore your dumb rating for nycdl's comment has been removed. It's not dumb to recommend supporting the developers of the software you use. Finally just because you didn't get a solution to your problem is not a reason to act rude.

I actually buy a lot of software cause I totally agree to support the developers of the software you love. But I have a rule: I only buy software which I completed one hole project with the software in it where the plug in/software was useful for me. Can't do this with a demo that can't save presets and stops the sound every 20 minutes. Especially if the plug in costs 189 dollar. When serum was released it was too buggy for a blind buy. I would like to see more Demo software that runs 30 days (30 using days) with full features, no branding, preset saveable... And if the developers don't offer this I use cracked plug ins.

So if no useable cracked version of serum exists I will delete it and look for alternative wavetable synths. Unfortunately sylenth1 is no alternative because I only run 64 bit setups... and the bridge stuff is not reliable enough.

For Massive: I already own that and used it for years thats why I look for new alternatives to it

I don't get the 1.0.0 Serum version to run properly... Can't register it (Demo mode only) anyone a solution for that?

 

So I need the demo (1.0.0) installed and the Xfer Records Serum 1.04 Beta 4 Update-win.osx and the SerumFIX, right?
