hi all! Hope you all like it. I am looking for suggestions/criticism on my new track. Please have a listen.

    UPDATE
So, after some pondering and thinking on how to apply best some of your suggestions, I think I am ready to share a new version of the original track.
It was an interesting process, and shure enough I had a hard time trying to maintain my own thing and try to combine mainstream techniques. In losing individuality I found my knowledge expanded. So yeah, it was a great thing to have your input.
Please, have a listen, compare and feel free to criticize this new version. Best regards!

I love all the sounds, and you sound like you've made a lot of progress. But 'dull' is the word that comes to mind. There's a lot going on in the track and it still manages to sound dull and disappointing musically. It's like you're hoping that the music will take a nice or interesting turn but it never seems to happen. Everything new fits in well, but it's still not pleasing to the ear.

Possible ideas for a solution would include making the underlying (bass is it?) synth that pounds boringly all the way through a little more interesting. You could stop it/start it, make it fadein/fade out, anything to make it interesting, and put that interesting bit @ 3.32 earlier on to maintain interest. You could also make the track sounds more dynamic by not compressing it all so much. One look at the SC waveform shows you that it's all happening at the same (dull) volume (or frequency or dynamics?).

Wonderful pointers you all!! I will ponder on each one of them and try to incorporate your suggestions on my upcoming releases.
Yeah, I guess I'll need some time to revaluate this track. I might do different versions of it, so I can improve and learn from it. Maybe you guys want to stick around and help me out to revaluate? Thanks in advance, you guys rock!

Hi atmos.Nice track.Try muting the drums in one or two places keeping the highs moving.Use filters and a buildup here and there.Dynamics.There are a lot of interesting samples on our sister site that you could use to make your track interesting.Give some of the Vengeance packs among others,a go.Change or eq the Hats as they sound sort of mechanical(not trying to be rude)and use a little humanize function on them to get a sort of real feel and the pads could be broader.Layer the kick and snare maybe.Fade ins and fade outs of the melody lines.A vocal delay here and there etc etc ..just some ideas that you could mull on though you don't have to take my word for it.Man you could go wild.At around 3.30 it does get interesting. You heard all the help each member has given you...now blast this track man!!!All the best :like:

I have to tell you that there is very little you can do to the mix if there is no music there. Firstly get your composing skills together.
    Sorry to be harsh.
