    Hi everybody.
I'm new here. I like to know, if somebody can tell something more about that,
that some versioins of (cracked) Kontakt by the "Collect samples/Batch compress"
can eliminate the nki protection, so you will not to need to add the library anymore
and also after that no more "...patch is encrypted...".

    I see...
Is there a other way to remove encryption from the "nki"?

You can't Eliminate patch is encrypted but you can add library normally from ADD Button
    There is 3 Options
if You Use Legit Kontakt Use Serial Or REG File
if You Use Cracked Kontakt Use Also REG File
you will only face patch is encrypted even if you add the library probably and that will happened only with old libraries kontakt 2 Or 3 Or 4
R2R they mention to try to delete the XML and reg files and add again the library but to eliminate the ecrypted nki is none-sense since R2R Version of kontakt has no encrypted libraries and adding libraries need no reg file

Libraries that are encrypted say in the format NKX and NKC files are not directly loadable in Kontakt.

They need to be added through the add libraries tab and added and then loaded via the tab into Kontakt.

Even older encrypted libraries that use NCS monoliths still create NKC files when an NKI is loaded.

Such libraries are normally the format of NI libraries or libraries that have been encrypted especially by NI such as Kontakt player libraries. The process itself is done in House by NI and is quite secret.

However I can make my own library and make a .nicnt file and use NKX/NKC as a file format and Kontakt will ask me to provide a serial number to register the library despite the fact it is a library I have created

The NKC files contain pointers to the locations of all files within the monolith.

The NKX file are Kontakt monolith container files and it is these NKX files are encoded with particular specifications proprietary to Native Instruments.

NKX is the monolith file format which only contains samples and therefore you need NKI files also.

To decrypt these under normal circumstances you would need the algorithm used etc in the encryption process.

unnks was a program that would extract data from nks and nkx archives but it was promptly shut down by NI after the threat of legal action.

Unlocked Kontakt works by bypassing the service centre completely and thus avoiding the usual registration checks that are put in place.

Whether you can extract the information from an encrypted file format I am not prepared to comment upon but suggest if you are interested in such then you should research the topic in great detail.

    Good luck!

You can't add Any Modified Nicnt In Legit kontakt without Serial Number Because NI They are the only ones that can do that by providing legit Serial number

Exactly that's why it asks for a serial number if one used despite the fact it's a user built library lol! Of course bypassing authorisation say in unlocked Kontakt solves this problem

    Thanx for replies.

    I know "Add Library" feature.
My aim is to avoid this. Manually or with "Library Manager (?)" utility.
I assumed, if there is a way to "encrypt" nkx file via "Collect samples/
Batch compress" (after Add Library,of course) - you get a, let's say,
"non encrypted" nkx, because all wav/ncw after that are readable without
Add Library function (for example after reinstall Windows).
And I thought, maybe there is a similar process also for the "nki's"...

What is it exactly that you are trying to do? Extract the source data from an encrypted NKI i.e get hold of the samples or turn your own samples into an encrypted format such as NKX. Not sure I have understood correctly?

For example you turn your own samples into NCW/NKX format and they will be read by legitimate kontakt however to add a library picture you need to create a registration entry. However I believe if you then say want to add that picture in legitimate Kontakt the registration entry will be picked up and it will ask you for a serial. Unlocked kontakt however bypasses the service centre therefore you CAN add a library picture in unlocked kontakt but not in Legitamate kontakt. However legitamte kontakt will read the contents of NCW/NKX u have created just without the ability to add a library tab. Could be wrong though.

You can also I hear  by using certain programs extract the contents of an encrypted NKI but as to the purpose of why you wish to I am not 100%

To make own nkx file readable in legitimate Kontakt is interesting.
    Maybe my new thread :)
Now I'm trying to know, how to make one nki from the encrypted
library to become "non encrypted nki/patch". Like, let's say, my own
selfmade nki and can be readable in other PC wihout necessity to
"Add library" function on this second PC.
The samples from encrypted library (nkx) I can move to the other PC
via the "Collect samples/...", and they are extracted and readable
without "Add Library", but when I move one nki from this certain
libraty from the first PC to the second machine, it's still encrypted.

Kontakt 3.5 AIR might do the job. I'm not sure right now whether it was 2.2.0 or 3.5 which removed the encryption.

Yes Andrew That will do the job with old libraries below 3.5 AiR
But imagine That if the library is newer than the version of Air let's say Kontakt v4 & Kontakt v5 , It Will be Impossible To Read The nki In the first place

Yes I am aware of that, but no other newer version did it right. E.g. all newer versions retain the encryption and dependency. For new K4+ patches, I'm afraid there isn't a solution, but my reply does answer bluetoooth's question, bluetoooth didn't mention which patches are concerned for which library.

Yes, Kontakt 3.5 AIR did it like a breeze. Thanx. But it's solution only for libraries in vK1-K3.5 .
I mostly need to use nkis from libraries for K4+ (scripting, GUI etc).
So I need "universal nki encryption remover" for all versions of nki.
Is the Kontakt 3.5 AIR one and only on the world with this skill? I can't belive it...

Which libraries are you concerned with? Mostly u can access scripts ect and contents of GUI either in resources folder or encrypted into the NKR. All depends on sample format etc In reality most libraries are not encrypted anyway due to cost etc

Yes. But not only samples extracted. My main aim was to remove
encryption from inside of the "body" of the nki. And the K3.5 simply
did it. It's some kind of magic or what :)

It's something wrong with server or what? I reply to your question
"did you extract samples?" or something like that, I saw it on the screen. But now disappeared. Weird, isn't it?
I'm not concerned on particular libraries. I simply browse
library/ies, and when I find interesting sound/patch, I put it into
my project. Yes, a lot of libraries are not encrypted, but some
    interesting libraries are encrypted...
