IRFANVIEW - (free) does batch conversion between lots of formats.
    irfanview.com

Navigate to "What is Irfanview?" , then to the 'list of formats'
If RES isn't there, then go to 'Plugins' and sus those out.

    hello, Mr_Amine, Audio Lovers,

xnview or xnconvert might also do it, at least might serve as the converter to some middle format to use in other batch converters, check their site, one of the best cross platform image viewers, image editors.

sorry if this does not help, the intention here was to mention this as one possibility (might, perhaps, be used for other purposes).

all the best for all of us, wish you the fastest possible solution to find...

later edit, post scriptum, perhaps it is worth to bring up one request on the user forums of the programs, these developers usually listen to their user community...

RES isn't supported and there is no plugin for that for Infanview.
Did you check it before making this post???

  10. Well from what I can remember, using C++ Builder, you can create an .rc file and then recompile it in .res with some delphi source code... Latest version of the builder should automatically convert .rc to .res

EDIT: You can find some infos about what I said here... Hope it helps!
