    It's possible, as Apple bought up the company, that all the libraries will be included in a future release of Logic Pro X.. given that the new release of Garageband has a basic version of the Alchemy plugin built in, so it's likely the full version, plus libs, will become part of LPX too.

    Of course it will be an LPX exclusive, much like EXS24 and any of the other built in plugins found in Logic Pro.

    haha i think Crapple will make an expansion out of it. and sell it for 50 bucks. imagine how many people would be it.

    So it seems almost all the old libs and their content are available for free with the update to LPX 10.2 and any that are missing can be easily imported into the new version without problems.

    fuck, I wasted my money for nothing since I have Logic.

    It looks like a good percentage of the extra 1.5 libs's content are available, as part of the additional download, yes. The total size of the additional content download for just Alchemy LPX is over 16GB so that should give you an idea of just how much.

    Im seeing lots of dupe presets after importing the original 1.5 libs into the LPX version. Some of these dupes are slightly different in as much as the new versions are tweaked to take into account the new features etc in Logic's version it seems... It also seems some of the original presets from the 1.5 libs have been renamed in the LPX additional content version, but other than that, there are just a few of them missing in comparison.

    As mag said, these were 3rd party additions back when Alchemy was being made by Camel Audio. I had no idea it had been resurrected for Logic.
