    Missing is the low-level (chip level) language - Assembler and those for the Raspberry-Pi and other microcontrollers.

    ive learned python v2, started with a bit java(its looks easy, but i still dont understand it.), interested in C-Variants.

    ASM i learned in 2013, its pretty easy to read, but hard to program. :wink:

    This infographic was created in a few years ago so some of these numbers aren't accurate anymore (is missing some important languages like Apple Swift language) Still has a lot for useful info though

    Amazing they don't even mention C# or Visual Basic yet they mention SQL. Anyway C++ might be a hard language to learn for your first one. SQL is something that comes with the territory and you should learn that in addition to an actual programming language. Also you never mentioned if you're looking to do desktop or web development and if this is a hobby or you're looking to make this your profession. I laugh at the hefty salary part. 80-90 grand is far from a hefty salary these days. I think it's bullshit that athletes make millions while those that make the world run get a measly salary like that. That's not even after taxes so be prepared to end up with a lot less. Anyway I wish you well on your first steps into the world of development.:cheers:

    they mentioned C, C# and C++ are just variants or better updates of C and VB is just a more visual way to program, if notmore object-orientated, thats why they didnt mention it.

    malware-reverser is also good paid. ESET and all the other companies run yearly challenges, pretty cool stuff.

    not really ASM worked better for as to understand python, because you can see step by step whats going on. you can also ID which class of command is going on, its better as in python, where you have no clue, i once coded a keygen in python, i couldnt print down a key-middle-result, because there is no function to print out Hash-objects, i tried to convert it to strings, etc, not working.
    the keygen routine was irght inplemented in the keygen, but it was still showing the same key for all the input. i hate python really.

    well they said ASM was an option for the programming course and was considered, because its free, but then they said python is more orientated for the direction the subject is. so how they end up with python in the end, doesnt matter, python sucks.
