    Hello fellow audiosexuals,

I just wanted to promote a magazine I'm curating:

    Behold! The

    Making Techno

    magazine.

In the magazine, you will find everything you need to know about techno music production: production techniques, hard- and software news, buyer guides, some gear porn here and there :) , interviews. Plus from time to time I post some articles about the sociologic aspects of music production and stuff about the electronic music culture in general.
I want to reach advanced producers as well as beginners, so you will find e.g. rather lengthy tracts about mixing subbass and also beginner's guides about layering kick drums etc.
New content is delivered on a daily basis.

You can find the magazine here:

    http://j.mp/mktchno

Flipboard is a platform that allows to create digital magazines from content gathered from the web, be it written articles or videos. You can view it from your mobile device using the dedicated app. It's like reading a magazine on your tablet, with embedded videos etc. Really a great experience.
Or you can just simply view it in your browser.

I hope you have fun and spend some time reading new stuff :)
Also, feel free to share!

Kudos, man. I'm not into EDM, but the idea is amazing. If I can provide any help, I'm also in.

lmfao I clicked the link yesterday and started reading stuff. Didn't even bother to read your post and realize this is your own project. That's bad ass. Great work man.

Nice! It's really goos to see something solely aimed at techno.. Really looking forward to seeing some good content.

One thing, i've never used the Flip site before, how can i JUST look at the articles you're posting? and not all the other random articles posted by other people.

Also, I hope you put some Logic Pro stuff up on there :)

    Thanks man :)
Actually, most of the articles are not written by me. But I'm not so sure if that's what you mean.
If you stick to the url above you'll only see content that I linked to.

Exemplary! A few things I like: the name of the writer and the date of the article. It's so frustrating when researching blogs how these are omitted and you don't know if the info is up to date or not. The language of the writing is down to earth and accessible, but be careful to only use this style to hook in the reader, those who read a lot may be expecting good writing for reading (I'm sure you know exactly what I mean). The layout is well put together for the style. Personally I find magazine layouts too clutered. Excellent job, well done.

I don't want to adorn myself with borrowed plumes so I think it's important to emphasize that the majority of articles does not arise from my authorship.
Most of the points you praise are the merit of the awesome medium flipboard. I just happen to sit here at my desk in the morning, browsing my sources while having a coffee and if I think the readers of my magazine might be interested in something I read, I'll flip it to my magazine (flipboard talk for linking to sth.).
If you use flipboard in the browser, a click on the abstract or thumbnail will take you straight to the original article. If you use flipboard via the dedicated app on your mobile device, you'll get to a shortened version on the article and land on the original website upon further clicking.
Some of the articles are from my youtube channel or my blog, but I find seldomly the time to write a new article - let alone enough material for daily updates.

    hmmmm...

I really love the idea, good job fraifikmushi
And I'm sure it's a great magazine, but unfortunately I can't get to it :dunno:
For some reason I only get a blank page at flipboard

I tried to find the page using flipboard's search function (techno, making techno, ...), but nothing. Usually I'm browsing with Firefox, but it's the same with Internet Explorer. And it happens with both links in OP. The link I get in my address-line is --> https://flipboard.com/section/making-techno-bDHjab

Is the page down? Anyone with a similar problem?

    thx
