Beside adobe photoshop can do that, there's a freeware software that can reduce PNG files

it is out on audioz now go check the second page on audioz in the right section
The good news is that The dll file is smaller four times than the original (32-bit / 33.7 MB | 64-bit / 34.6 MB)

According to Mono , The RAM Still the same  I Don't know if it is true or not i need more members to test it so that we could confirm that it is what it is
I believe That the matter of ram is related to the patches loading samples
So far I Need Members to test it :) till we figure out how to make this beast to consume less ram :dancing:

Edit: Sorry But you can not link to a warez site, so I removed your link-Mykal

I have downloaded it right now... tonight when the temperature goes down I will test it.

Anyway, whatever the result, thank You very much for Your time

I just tried it, and sadly, I can not see any difference.
At least, some HD space has been recovered, so the attempt was not in vane.

Once more, thank You very much for having spent Your time on this; much appreciated

i believe you need to have Boob Moog tribute library Installed already on your MAC
Because Omnisphere 2 doesn't have the Boob Moog tribute Library
NOTE : Omnisphere 2 does have the update only of Boob Moog tribute

As far as EP and intellectual property of Roland D-50

he has the right to nothing, he was an employee of Roland at the time, anything developed for Roland then copywriten By Roland is the property of Roland not the employees that produced it. he had a contract and im sure it stated as such.

as Far as Omni 2 and the compressed dll, when i load it the ram foot print is smaller then before . but thats with no patch loaded , once a path is loaded the ram use goes up depending on the patch . but it does save ram, but that saving % is relative depending on the patch or multi loaded

im not really sure if impressing sound files is possible but too Omni 2 can be set up to conserve resources

im running with 16gb of ram and can run Omni 2 with a lot more instances then with version one with no problems. I've found to that building your own Multis uses a lot less resources then 4 single instances. for those you don't like to run multi mode just think of it as an 8 track mixer in one Vsti

I use RIOT for batch compress PNG's ;) top freeware tool for compressing images (JPG & TIFF also supported)

    BTW
i also compress DLL's with free MPRESS packager (most DLL working and can be reduced even to 95% of original size)

    For example, Omnisphere 2.1.0d

    original size - 120 Mb
    with compressed PNG's - 29.9 Mb
    Mpress compressed - 21.0 Mb
