anyone else there yet? the izotope AU's will not open in logic X, under el capitan (beta2). for me, that's nectar2, but others report the same problem with ozone6 (it runs standalone, but won't open in logic).

seems a problem with the AU files somehow (as all my other AU's work fine).

any ideas, suggestions?

 

No suggestions other than they need to be updated. You might try running the Izotope Au's through Permissions Rest app just for the heck of it. Are you using force validate AU app? Seems odd that just this plug is causing trouble but I have heard others say the same. Think I'll hold off on EL Cap for a while. Don't need the aggravation.

 

Its wasn't release, so you are doing experimentations right?

Au authorize could help too, but you have to understand that developers take time to update and that you are searching for trouble.

no permissions options in el capitan, and i tried lots of tricks, ie the 'force validation' app. def an izotope issue (plugins 'won't open'). for now tho, using this: http://www.ddmf.eu/product.php?id=3
let's me use the izotope vsts, $49US, so...all good (for now). el capitan is pretty great so far, and everything runs fast, stable.

i love running betas, trying things out. and enjoy figuring things out (like this izotope madness)...

 

Its all about running well with ALL the software and hardware. With largers setups is really hard, sometimes impossible.
I have so many problems with updating with Win and OS X and I do not want this anymore.
Many developers take a long time to release new versions, and the teams stop releasing so...
I use mainly Mavericks, have a second boot with Yosemite... probably only migrate to Yosemite in some months...

 

i enjoy the challenge of getting things to work, but that's just me. am starting a new project next week (this is my living), and everything's running great. LX is happy, the OS (beta notwithstanding) is stable. but, bottom line...whatever works. getting the REAL work done always trumps the NEW...

 

izotope plugins seem to be fine now in PB3...!...
