No harm, no foul. He was just trying to help out by making sure that there were no warez requests because they're not allowed but it's very common to see them posted anyway. It just so happens that this one time the post was misread, there were countless others in which the member was correct. It has nothing to do with being dumb either, sometimes people just don't read the rules. I appreciate when people take the initiative to help out because we're a small team and our members make our jobs easier which is nice.

Not suspicious but they have their own ways. They make top notch products period.

The new aqua plugins are fantastic. Their support didn't used to be the best but they have got a lot better. I own a couple aqua plugins & they fantastic.

The only thing I don't like is their licensing system. They won't remove say trail licences or licences that exist for old platforms/locations that no longer exist etc & a few other bits.

This is probably just me & also standard practice with other manufacturers also. The reason why I can't tell u. Probably for security.

Thing is I hate mess & it can get real messy.

For example, say I upgrade my system from XP lol even though im not used it for years to Vista -windows 7 -windows 8- 8.1 -10 etc etc.

As the license system liked to your hardware. Every time you need to renew your license & they only offer so many slots. They will add slots for u if u email them but they say it is their policy not to remove trial licenses etc

So you end up with like 16 different licences for the same product on platforms that don't exist any more or trial licenses that were say two years ago.

However in their defence they have been helpful when I have contacted them. Other companies do this also so they not the only ones. Is probably just me being over fussy.

Would prefer a license system maybe where u can move your license to the cloud etc deactivate it on old platforms & then retore it to a new location where its active. However whether they don't do that for a reason I can't tell u. Probably security again.

However there products are brilliant even if a little pricey but compared to some the value u they represent is great.

Am sure you will get loads of great use of your new plugin. Like I mentioned if you have nebula also you can run the plugin as the Aqua library thru nebula on certain bundles also which a great option to have imo.

So suspicious no & not a lot to moan about.

However like with every other company in the world improvements can be made.

I guess the most important thing is you listen to your customers & they seem to be doing that a lot better now than they were.

 

One last thing...I want to apologise directly to you, siddolo, for myself being a complete asshole, feigning bravado and righteousness when I chided you for your misspelling of the word admonish. It was childish and immature and in retrospect I wish that I hadn't done it. I feel horrible for taking advantage of your honest mistake to make myself seem like a champion, chest puffed out in some kind of manly show of victory and intellectual advantage. If I hurt your feelings I am so very sorry. Moving forwards into the future I will never let this happen again and only hope that you can excuse or forgive my lapse of humanity, decency and decorum.

Ive used the Massive Passive hardware many times.

After testing Acustica Magenta 2 & 3, AITB Mammoth, and Alex B MMeQ......

Alex B's MMeQ sounded the best and closest to the hardware IMHO, but all sound better than any algo EQ.
