Of course, graphics always was the most important thing for IL.

 

I predict sales for Imageline will soar out the roof!! As an old FL user, i certainly will be using it. It taught me how to produce music. Tempted to go back to it full-time now that it it's on osx. But by now i'm so used to logic's linear way of working and mixing on FL's mixer always felt awkward to me (although it could get the job done). Don't see myself switching back. But i'm happy now most of the mac world will get a chance to actually use it and probably will stop knocking it as much. It is an excellent DAW from a great company!

 

Just tested it, they definitely got there work cut out for them.

 

Man... I'm so far removed from it, but it was my first DAW. I learned on it, as well. Moved on to Pro Tools full-time when I got my MAC after the PC crash, then to producing in Logic (because Pro Tools is like a bad girlfriend). I can't say that I'm not excited, even though I don't see myself completely switching back. I would love to be able to use it Native (without VMWare) and see how it feels. But, it's about the Man, not the machine. Although, these days it's a little about the Maschine...

Howd they converted the Delphi code to OSX?

 

Thanks for the tip – but where is it? I went to the site; there is no download link for the Mac version, neither Demo nor Full.

It wasn't converted they had a separate team from their windows platform to build it up from scratch.

 

Nice i am buying mac book right away!

 

not like the Win version No DirectX missing plugins fruity wrapper, its like its not finished But a good test run still same as last yr not ready for Mac Oh Well

 

Last year i read that apple had plans to add delphi to their sdk. This was confirmed by IL team. I believe u still can find this articles on their forums. Noone (especially Image Line) will built-up from scratch. They just was waiting until apple will finish most big part of the deal.

 

this is how it happened, some user/fan found out about a Delphi for mac website, posted on the forum, Image line checked it out, and after few months we have this. i'm telling you this because i'm always there to see what's new and how things are going.

i can still remember the post where it all started from, can't find tho, it was buried.

 

but open projects from windows? in your opinion?
