Has anyone else had this happen to their Zebra 2 and Diva plugins? I just loaded them yesterday and they worked but today they have a message about my "trial version has expired"? I've had them for 3 years!!! It will not accept my serials?
They are both Firewalled at my router AND my computers... weird.

I hardly ever use Diva so I'm not too concerned there. However, I love Zebra 2...

 

Try going back one version or so and start over.

 

I have the same issue with my zebra too ... but I just reload the plugin with the fl studio wrapper option andm then it works fine

 

if i "loved" Zebra i would really consider just buying it. The working versions are kinda outdated not worth the trouble if its something i find myself using on every project.

yes I had the problem. Solved reinstalling software (Diva)

 

254 for Zebra 2 and rev 903 for Diva they should still work for a bit with D.O.A ser, 3 years testing lol

 

I've been meaning to post about this but was holding off until i could confirm...same issue here. I've tried backdating my computer to MULTIPLE backup dates i've had when everything worked fine. Even tried reinstalling the os. Something has happened within the last week with DIva (or uhe). Not sure what it is. My plugs are going back to demo as well. I'm using the DOA version. Very Very strange. I have my daw blocked as well.

 

U-HE has all sorts of time bombs in their vsts, some of the earlier versions work better than the later ones, but even those show errors from time to time, if you really want stable versions then you are gonna have to buy them

Yes too any problems with Uhe's vsti's.

It seems that one of the protection is related to the use hours per week. If you use it more than X hours per week there's a check and bonb thing again.

At first sight you would think these guys are very clever, but think about consequences on their sales...
I wanted to buy Zebra after longtime trying thanks to crks . But I understood that with Uhe, if you buy one, all other crk are fucked so, I just forgot about Uhe's things. There are so many other synths to choose.

 

All still working fine here.

DAW PC doesn`t even know what a modem is and has never been connected to the iNet, that`s what lappies are for! *yes*

I read on AudioZ that U-He has some extremely elaborate protection schemes which I applaud Urs for! That's hard work!

One of which is the plugins (with recurring registration errors) have a "self-destruct" date embedded within the code. Once that date arrives... boom! DEMO-MODE.

Gotta love it.
I'm ok with that since the reason I love AudioZ is that it has allowed me to determine which of these companies I actually WANT to buy from. I cannot tell you where I would be if I actually bought everything I thought I wanted!

I sat down one rainy afternoon and added up the retail value of all the plugins that I currently possess and the ones I thought I wanted. Staggering amount of money would have been flushed down the loo. Over $50,000!!!

Do you think the developers care if I went broke buying the shit I thought I wanted but after detailed review, realized it wasn't worth it. Of all the plugins and software I have... I frequently return to the same, trusty 20 or so plugins. Mind you, I have "test-driven" over 300 Kontakt libraries alone!!! That's a 93% "suck-ass-product rate"!!!

 

Oh those timebombs appear every summer and just before christmas doesnt matter if you use firewall as i have had them on a PC WITHOUT internet not even configured to be online still it went demo 4 july and also just before cristmas it worked however to turn back the clock and after some month or so put it back to "normal" time
