Hello, browsing this post up and down all over the pages (thanks Mild) it seems that they removed the Notation Editor definitively, am I right?

Yeah, I tried this in pre5, when you draw notes in midi editor - they are added to notation editor, and vice versa, when you draw notes notation editor - they are in midi editor, more space in one midi track - pauses added in Notation editor...and more and more...but they thought it is still buggy and bad...probably they will add it as soon as possible. It is still "release candidate" stage, maybe there will be 1000000 release candidates of REAPER 5.00 with new features, fixes, improvements...Who knows))) maybe next release candidate will be dedicated to the new protection, watermarks adding, RTAS support, ProTools projects opening support and Soundcloud page      we don't know))

So, pieces of changelog for Notation editor only:
    1) v5.0pre4 - January 8 2015 (Notation editor introduced)
+ Notation editor. Early days, feedback welcome!

    2) v5.0pre5 - January 10 2015 (Fixes, new features, improvements for Notation editor)
    # Notation editor: context menu to change clefs
    # Notation editor: fixed bad font sizing on OSX
    # Notation editor: improved ties, erasing notes, undo
    # Notation editor: preview notes while editing via the project virtual keyboard

    3) v5.0pre5b and v5.0pre5c (Notation editor still there; no changes for Notation editor)

    4) v5.0pre6 - January 16 2015 (Notation editor removed)
    # Notation: removing notation editor for now. It will be back later.

Yes, the last one you mentioned is what I noticed.
I will never be hired for any studio so Pro Tools is the last thing on my list of needs.
    Thanks again.

I used it) I finished album with it) stable as any final release) you know that even final releases goes after final releases. There is no stability at all) there will be a lot of releases with fixes, new stuff, improvmnts etc.
Use it. All things work fine. Don't worry.
I'll never back up to 4.xx, I'm only on 5.xxxx)))always update

artic, I do not use crack/patch) this window with "Buy Me" with 5-7 seconds of waiting doesn't irritates me) I use it in evaluation mode - no functionality restrictions...patch/keygen just for removing this Buy-Me-Window and just for "you use full license blah blah stuff")) no more

i wanted to reverse it again, they altered the code a bit for the 64bit version and also checks for an old method.

i know its really stupid to have it cracked, the devs really deserves some money for that fantastic DAW with even python support and now VST3!

meanwhile ableton keeps ignoring VST3 support requests, just like in the good old times lol
