Which drum sound are you after? Putting a time in the track that the drum sound you were after occurs would help.

If you look up the wikipedia for the album this track is from, you will see there are several drummers and percussionists listed on the album.

Buy a frame drum. Play it, record it. Add reverb.

But it's more fun to play the real thing (and it's more dynamic/expressive/interesting).

 

An even cheaper solution would be a plastic pipe that you hit with your flat hand on one side and record it with a microphone on the other side.
BTW, hitting with cheap rubber slippers will give you a more drum-like, harder attack.
You don't need to put the mic too close.
Feed the signal through a delay with its delay time precisely adjusted to the same frequency as the pipe, and turn up the feedback until the decay is to your liking.
The second sound sounds like a larger plastic cup hit on the bottom with your hand, while covering the top side with your hand, more and more closing it while you repeatedly hit the bottom.

Another virtual instrument I'd highly suggest is AAS Chromaphone. If you're patient enough, pick a similar sound from the preset library and tweak it until you're quite there
