Since I update to Yosemite there are two VST/AU that don't work anymore.

One of them is Nicky Romero Kickstart v1.0.9.Incl.Keygen WiN/MAC-R2R

I get this error when uploading the license file "We are sorry the licence file could be parsed we have chaneged the licence format in feb 2014"

The other one is Dada Life Sausage Fattener

    I get this error:
    Screen_Shot_2015_02_22_at_3_13_58_PM.png

Please help me how to fix it!

In regard to Sausage Fattener, it may or may not be due to your using a cracked example of it. On Dada Life's website, the FAQs assure that it is compatible with OSX Lion (10.7), as it had been introduced as being compatible with 10.5 and up. With Mavericks (10.9), there had been an issue with Dada Life's being an "unidentified developer" to Apple, and supposedly some tweaking of the OS's security settings had been necessary to get it running. Some software and plug-ins simply don't "translate" into Yosemite. There is no information on Dada Life's site as to whether Sausage Fattener works on Yosemite or not, so try e-mailing their support to see what they have to say.

You might try the "force AU validation" app (google it) to get it registered by Logic.

Hey guys...allow me to help. For anyone reading this, Sausage Fattener DOES work in yosemite. I am using it with logic 10.1 so I can confirm this as a fact. Download VSTAU manager (google it) and make sure you have 32 live installed. Delete your au version of Sausage Fattener, run vst au manager (it will scan your vst format plugins, select your sausage fattner and click on install. Open up 32Lives and resurrect it. When you open up your daw the next time, it will have the plugin available that was created by VSTAU manager.

I have done this for many plugins that refused to work. All are working fine in Logic. Took a screenshot for you. It works! You're Welcome!

But VSTAU manager convert any plug (even 64 bits) to 32 bits, so for Lógic X you will need 32 lives...
In Yosemite its a pain in the ass because apple droped support in legacy gráficos that are needed in some plugs. Mainly u-he (Urs must be very happy with Apple) ...

why in God's name did you update?

learn the lesson now... never, ever, ever, ever, ever, update your mac (at least a mac that is your DAW computer).

Its pretty sad mac updates went from "oh lemme do a quick OSX update before my liveset in 2 hours" without a worry in the world, to "I"M NOT TOUCHING THAT UPDATE WITH A 10FOOT STICK EVARRR D:"

Its pretty clear apple chose to focus on its huge consumer market, mirroring the frequency of major OSX updates to its iOS updates, instead of taking proper care of its smaller professional userbase which gave them their streetcred.

After the mavericks headaches, i'm not ever going near any osx update ever again. Never. Nope.

Sausage fattener DO work on Yosemite.
It was even updated just for Yosemite compatibility. Just buy it, and it will work right out of the box, if you really "need" it.
Both plugs are crap anyway, it could be a good opportunity to find a replacement for SausageFattener, and grabbing CableGuys volumeshaper in place of that Nicky Romero shit. You could also just dump it, and instead invest some time to learn proper use of sidechain compression, even better using a dedicated "pilot" track to trigger the compressor. Just IMHO of course.

I wrote an article on this forum explaining why Apple is already screwing pro/enthusiast computer users.
When they sold only computers, they aimed at pro market. Now, they aim mainstream and don't give a f*ck about pro/ent users because they represent nothing in numbers. More iPhone users buying a Mac than audio producers
In the same article, i wondered how many "1 year/free OS" updates it would take to start...it is already here with Yosemite and legacy graphs neediing ppl like U-He to update all his plugs. And it is only the beginning...every year, you will get something stacked on the pile.
I don't think devs will follow this (another thing i already wrote about).
