    Hey guys

I found a brilliant tutorial series on KV331's Synthmaster on youtube. I couldn't really find much on it elsewhere and it is a very feature rich synth with some functions that I have not seen before. This guy breaks down every section comprehensively and I really think it is worth looking at if you have not used it much or have been confused by what it offers and how it works.

    Sadowick Production KV331 Synthmaster Course

Not sure if permissable but I have downloaded the videos and can upload them if required and allowed on AZ.

Please check them out and give the guy a thumbs up if you can. I think he did a good job of showing how much potential the synth has as even I was a little perplexed when I first took a look at it and understood it so much better afterwards.

Yeah I'm gonna throw some more of his stuff in the Academy. Coming soon. We're working on a lot of projects at once so I can't keep up right now. Thanks for the share. :mates:

These are great. Thanks armyofone. SynthMaster is one of my very favorite synths. I've been using it in nearly every track lately.

Thanks a lot. Never used that synth before (too lazy to start with another one). Hope this helps to get me started.

    Nice share  .

Hey no problem fellas. I thought this would help as I couldn't find a tutorial from Groove3 and the like and it looks like one of the more complex synths. I really learned a lot from this set including my first hands-on look into additive synthesis.

Zeus - seriously try giving this one a shot mate. The synth is very powerful and feature ridden and I think its a bit of a dark horse with a lot of potential.

Thanks for this tip! Strangely, they're few available tutorials about Synthmaster (AskVideo and Groove3 haven't it). Seems to be a good synth, maybe a good start point to discover it.

    To OP:

Thank you very much for your great TUT tip !

i bought Synthmaster years ago, but opening it and looking at it was too overwhelming for me :(
(so why did i bought it ? yeah, good question haha).

But with these Sadowick tuts i am really starting to dig this awesome synth !

Agreed : there should be way more tuts available for this plugin .. it's so powerful.

I've made two skins for Synthmaster.

They're not the most beautiful thing I agree, but were meant to serve as a template for new ones.
The dotted bg was for me to make sure that all layers match.
I did a few modifications on the layout and organized things a bit.

nice find, I've yet to get beyond using presets and making some simple modifications for reason you said. starting to create from scratch was a bit daunting when needing to go for sounds in my head in a limited time frame.

I remember seeing a review of Synthmaster in Computer Music magazine where they said, after trying it, this is THE synth they would choose to be stranded on a desert island with. High praise indeed from them that know.

Sadowick sure does make some extremely useful tutorials. Great share...... Thank You. :mates:

Excellent mate!.. been wantin' to finally "crack-open" this beast.

A couple questions though (and anyone can answer this really):

    1) What hardware controllers does he have sitting in front of him?

    2) In the 2nd video (approx. 30 sec. into it) he demonstrates the pitchbend parameter by sliding his finger along one of those ribbon-controllers... anyone know what device that is a part of? Is it the Akai/Machine lookin device, or the huge glowing keyboard thing that he can somehow play notes on (and YEAH!!, what is THAT?.. I've not seen or heard of that piece of gear).

Big thanks again for throwin this tute our way Armyofone!! *yes*
