Could be a Telecaster, too
You can find real Tele/Squier/another brand similar for very few money. And get an amazing tone for cheap.

On my side, i will double split my X2N (asymetric/two differents coild humbucker) on my 7 strings Jackson.
Or may be parallel wiring (very near single coil, but without the noise  )
ADADADF# tuning (D modal) :guitarhero: :headbang:

Some Telecaster (and more) madness :

About "latency", remember most shredders can play faster than light with a digital chain.
And live desk are digital, too. And wireless guitar transmitters are digital too.
And playing some meters from you amp introduce more latency than a digital modeler.
    ...and more and more
So it is always funny to have ppl complaining about digital latency when they play 1 note a second whereas others play blazing fast licks without troubles with several digital hardware chained (like Petrucci).

Here are some guitars played both on Rocktron Prophecy (digital, of course) :

Latency under 10-8 ms is just splitting hair. And psychological

Thanks everybody, really appreciate the useful answers here ! Gramofon that demo is beautiful :)

That i'm surprised to see in here the same old real/virtual world in a place where precisely we know how to use and get the best of both world. As long as it sounds good, mission accomplished :mates:

My answer comes a bit late, as everything was already said= any single coil good guitar played with echo/delay (and a bit of compression and chorus) can sound like that!

And, of course, Gramofon's demo is

PS= with a careful programmation, some guitar VSTi can sound like that = the Karma module on Kronos/Oasys can allow a humanized touch when playing arpegios as when using delay on a real guitar...
