Im using Kontakt 5.5 with studio one V3. My Kontakt always change the velocity level, i cant figure out why. When I load an instrument, and start playback the volume level goes to minus 17 db or something, and when I put the level to minus 6 and start to play the playback, the level slider goes back to minus 17. I didnt change the CC7 or automation the volume. Is there something i missed? or any function iI need to know.

Dirty volume potentiometer on your MIDI controller can do that, in my experience. ;) But it always goes to precisely -17dB? That's weird. But I would still try disconnecting the MIDI controller before working with Kontakt and see what happens.

 

Thx . I want to try this by disconnecting my USB Keyboard. I hope it works.

 

Probably CC7 is being triggered from somewhere affecting signal level.

First place to look either like mentioned above your Midi controller, check sliders etc.

Second place would b your DAW. Check if it happening standalone, could b your DAW changing CC7 automated but possibly not.
