That sound

    Hey Guys, Can someone give some hints about how to produce distorted synth sound used in the beginning of this awesome song :

    Start with a single saw. Add a comb filter and set frequency and feedback to taste.
    Add some bandpass (lowpass + highpass) and then some light stereo chorus. Maybe even saturate it.

    Then (go back and) start playing with other waveforms/stacking/unison/detuning/etc, than your original simple saw wave.

    That sounds like a bit distorted cello, yes. Take any cello sample, put some kind of a distortion on it and there you go.

    LOL - I had to listen to it twice to find the "distorted synth sound". No distorted *synth* sounds there.
