    I've read the docs but haven't yet had the time and a specific idea to try it out... On the other hand... The enviornment is borked...

    In 10.1, yes, they've SILENTLY fixed several bugs I've had with Transformer objects. Not the first time bugs that are fixed aren't mentioned in the changelogs.
