This might be a silly questions but I searched the internet and didn't find an answer so here goes:

I was wondering if it's possible to have a single instance of this VSTi that will output to different MIDI channels with different sounds, just like with Kontakt.

To be more specific, when I use kontakt I can use one single instance of the sampler in my DAW with different libs routed to different MIDI channels. After that I create different instrument tracks that will use the same Kontakt instance but each on a specific MIDI channel, with its own sound/library.

    Thanks in advance!

    Not sure I completely understand...

I think you might be referring to AUDIO output, not midi output (midi would be the input).

So you have several midi inputs routed to your instance of Kontakt, and you want to direct each instrument within that instance of kontakt to different audio outputs ???

    No, massive isn't a multi-timbral instrument.

No you can't, one instance for each sound.

Thanks Smartlad and Diabulus, just what I was afraid of.

@Zero-Frag, Sorry if I didn't explain clearly, basically I was referring to multi timbrality.

    Thanks everyone for your feedback.

As has already been stated, you can't because Massive isn't multi-timbral. Just use multiple instances, it's not that CPU intensive. *no*
