@ filtersweep After reading your initial message, there were no less than 5 complaints you addressed that were irritating to you about Studio One. You gave no info about your computer setup other than running Windows 7 (32/64 bit??).

I've used S1 since it came out, and many suggestions given by others may have been useful in solving one or more issues. I saw no "shouting match", ad-homian attacks, or irrelevant hammering about piracy as you claim. The reasoning to have a legit copy was you could skip Presonus User forum and directly contact Presonus Tech Support, which has always helped me work through any issues I may have had. I also started using pirated S1, but got legit version after getting some Presonus hardware and decided this was the DAW for me.

It seems strange that only after a number of suggestions pointing to possible issues with the state/condition of your computer, you then admitted "i am aware some of the issues i am having are related to the machine i have". So, thanks for sharing those up front with everyone, and why not start there to ensure your computer is correct and up to the task before going off about what a POS some DAW is.

You say you're only asking questions to get the benefit of other users opinions. Yet when they give them, you attack with statements like "as if i give a fuck what feeble brained idiots like you think"!! I think you're juvenile response to the members who took time to give suggestions is both disrespectful and downright fuckin' rude!!

Might depend on age of some programs but they sound recent enough to be reasonably up to date, glad that you got reason rewire working though, I havn't been able to get v5 working in sync on my present computer, someone suggested it's the core threads that are the problem for these now old programs. had to change the way I work but you may be able to do the same and find a different way of stringing things together depending on what your trying to get them to do. My answer was simply virtual midi and audio cables that had me doing what I pretty much did with it before, but I did find it less hassle with rewire once upon a time

I suggest if you have have paid for S1 then go to the Presonus forum and air your questions and grievances there, see how long they will tolerate your ignorance, As I pointed out in my previous response Ableton has some issues when it comes to rewire, try their forums as well for your whinging questions and comments
