Did you hear they are charging for bandwidth after the first download? Seems a little petty after the price of this....

I still don't know what the big fucking deal is with Omnisphere. nothing ever inspired me about the 1st one. And it took too much eq'ing and patch editing to ever make anything sit in a mix with all of the factory patches. Every patch sounded too epic.... Feel the same way about REV too... Idk maybe I'm just not a fan of romplers.

True, but besides that every damn patch is insanely all over the audio spectrum that once you EQ the patch it sounds remotely reminiscent the sound that started to catch your ear in the first place. Which is why I brought up the "epic ness" in e last post... But true, u can turn off that Godforsaken built in reverb.

If it's gonna happen, it's not gonna be coming from AiR. *no*

Omnisphere is quite a powerhouse for synthesis as well. If you want you can create your own sounds without ever touching the amazing factory library.

It's very fucking simple. Let me elaborate. If you're lazy/dumb enough to believe that Omnisphere is a ROMpler, it won't inspire you. But I wonder what will? Probably nothing. For fucks sake, people like you make me cringe. Mind explaining why Omnisphere is a rompler? You've done "too much patch editing", didn't you? Then you'd probably notice a there are oscillator modes with various waves, a powerful filter section, a great mod matrix and other tools you'd find on a fine synthesizer.

I've heard bs like this for YEARS. More often than not, the authors of the opinion have nothing of musical value to demonstrate.

No offense. But seriously. Omnisphere is a not a ROMPler. It has tons of features for sound manipulations right down to the oscillator/waveform level. 90% people I know never knew the editing interface even existed.

No.. It is a romper... A romper with a poor fx section and an even poorer synthesis engine. Aliasing anyone? but hey, one mans junk is another mans treasure..

You're looking to get tossed out of here I see with that little butthurt avatar you've got going on. I'm sure we'll all be lost without your usual bs comments that add nothing of value but we'll try to press on.
