What's New in v5.5?

- Kontakt/Battery instruments can be saved directly from within KOMPLETE KONTROL and MASCHINE 2
- Time Machine Pro voice settings can be controlled from KSP
- Developers can change the contents of an FX Slots from KSP
- Time related effect parameters can be controlled via KSP (Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser)
- The way that users interact with parameters associated with time within FX has been improved with more consistent behaviour

Kontakt is awesome I've been using contact since the first Kontakt doesn't seem like its been 10 years I can't wait for Kontakt 6

 

Great! I can't wait for the "This library cannot be used because it was created by a later version of Kontakt" messages, not so long after having updated my Kontakt to 5.4.whatev.

I would love to see a rewoked gui.
Maybe more tabbed or atleast a facelift that it looks as sexy as Battery

 

I would love to see a possibility to easily arrange the libraries in my preferred order and then save it (on mac)

 

And if I upgrade all I'll hear for the next month is "Why doesn't this instrument work with my version of Kontakt!" :P

 

You can...

Using 5.4.3......

Open the Kontakt app rather than the plugin version....

Drag the libraries up and down into the order you wish..

Quit the standalone app and reopen it once...

Now quit again and open the plugin version and the libraries should remain in the same order you dragged them into...

 

Personally... a resizeable Gui that works better with higher resolutions would be good too....

 

Well, while I know what you mean....

Thats only because you are using a cracked copy of Kontakt and cracked Libs...

If you were using a legal copy of Kontakt and it's Libs, that issue is a non issue...

So really, that's just a penalty for using cracked software.... and you have to balance that issue with the potential cost of all the libs you have downloaded and are using illegally...

Don't like it.. and Kontakt is that important to you... then buy Kontakt and the libs you use!

 

Yeah i know that, but i did that quite a few times and after some days Kontakt somehow lost this order and i had to do it again

 

That seems to be an issue with certain installations.. Maybe combinations of different cracks over the years or the latest crack itself.. or reg entry / plist problems..

Hasn't happened here using Legit versions for a long time now..on my main studio Mac...

However, on one of my other Macs... when I had to do a complete image restore using SuperDuper! one time... Kontakt (and almost all the rest of NI's stuff) got really messed up.. and in the end I simply reinstalled from scratch and no problems since.

It's a weird beast of a plugin at times....
