Did you uninstall and delete all waves folder on system disc and delete the waves folder in the registry?(if you had one installed before?)
And then install again?
Or did you just installed v9r26 without uninstall previous version?
You can make it work just do what i wrote above and then patch with v9r24 patch from R2R it is available on sister site..
NO KEYGEN just a patch

As alternative i would choose Softube Soundtoys Fabfilter DMG Melda iZotope Plugin Alliance Voxengo etc etc
It all depends on what plugins you use most.

Plugins are just tools it all comes to how you use them..

 

Hello, this is my first post here, i've registered to try and help you out.
I had the same error, problem is, instructions are not 100% clear.
You get that error because you didnt copy waveshells correct.
If you are on a x64 OS, you need to copy waveshells from here
Win x64 : C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells\
and paste them to where you install your VST plugins
ive pasted them in 2 places
C:\Program Files\Vst ( paste WaveShell-VST 9.3_x64.dll and WaveShell-VST 9.61_x64.dll here )
C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTx86 ( paste WaveShell-VST 9.3.dll and WaveShell-VST 9.61.dll here )
thats folders that i use for all my VST plugins you maybe named them different
Thats it i think, if you already have all plugins in licence center shown as Full Licence.
If you still get Licence Error that means you maybe have one of these 4 files in a different folder
just delete them and all is good, you just need these 4 patched dlls in a VST folder you have set up
in Studio One, where to look for VST plugins.
One other thing i did differently that is not in instructions is, during install i've selected
Licence Center, butch vig vocals and dbx 160 on top of what already says in instructions, but i
think that doesn't matter.

You can even install two versions of bundle at the same time (like i did 7 and 9)


As i told in addition to the programs that you mention; i think EZmix, Nomad Factory MFX-MAGMA etc. are good alternatives too.

 

i'd honestly go with fl plugins (Cpu friendly) and Ozone for final mix

I have waves working now thru bluecat, because I was never able to get the licensing thing to work, I get an error everytime. I'll use what I have until such time as AAX/PT12 is cracked and stable, I do wish I had the ability though to make keygens for mac.... would make life easier.

 

Why? Because there are not already enough warez for Mac? Or so you can keygen ProTools

I am not bothered about cricket, my comment about mac based keygens was only that I wish I had the skills to do it, so that I could contribute more, and take less. I realise it's very hard to learn coding, and round here, apart from distance learning there are not many educational establishments teaching coding. I don't need to crack pt12 I bought it, and a lot of other stuff too, but waves , well at £14,000 ++ for the complete package I dont think I will ever be able to buy it. For me .exe keygens have to be passed to a crappy old laptop I have that is slower than slow, and I would say that 70% of the .exe keygens I have tried, just dont work, being too old, wrong version whatever, but some do, and I am thankfull for that. Every keygen I have had for mac has worked seamlessly and perfectly. Which is why I said I wish I could make them.
