I guess it is not a complex sound at all to get for those who master synthesis, but it is not my case : P
I have been struggling through Serum and Massive and I have failed.
Would you help me?

Used 2 saw waves with unison. Then one 6db/oct LP filter with cutoff at ~70hz, a slow and small automated cutoff (to get some motion going on) and high reso. And a 2nd steeper and higher LP with just a bit resonance. Then some compression and EQing. (And portamento).

Depending on your synth some automated PWM on those saws might help.

If you want/if it would help I could upload the sound as a Serum preset, but getting it to work yourself and on your fav synth is usually better

Btw the original is kinda interesting because if you listen to the side signal of the bass there is some automation/LFO thingy going on but I'm not sure if it's worth reproducing to get a similar sound because it already sounds fine.

 

Wow, I am impressed; your "rough" example is more than fine, its awesome. I might only miss that sort of sharper punchy attack when the notes are not played in legato.
I would love listening to your Serum preset, but right now the demo mode expired and I have spent tooooo much money this month : P
I am trying to follow your instructions through Massive...but definitely the result it is not so smooth as yours at all.

oh well I made a quick massive preset, too, but it's probably more like a starting point. needs some more motion and a better clicky-attack.
[serum preset] and [massive preset] (serum preset goes into \Documents\Xfer\Serum Presets\Presets\User folder or if you want some other folder in the presets directory)
