I haven't analyzed it, but check that bass frequencies are centered & mono (150hz and less). Optional, but good practice.

Also, what I think's missing is another instrument which plays alongside the lead which supports it, maybe even takes over for a while. Or add some decorations/sfx.

Good music! It's definitely more "New Age" than Ambient.
The piece is somehow lacking of deep bass frequencies.
The melody line is okay. And finally some music without
any destructive electronic drums and useless percussion!

Thanks mate. Very good tips. As a matter of fact I have a second lead that kind of rests in the background, it's possible to add another more stronger lead that blend in here and there.
Will check the 150hz range out, as well for the balance too.

I toyed around with the lowFreq.range but it seems pretty hard to get a good "bite", without getting to the stage where things starts to get muddy.
Perhaps some EQ:ing and phase adjustments would do the trick.
Thanks for the feedback :) Yeah no drums in this track.

For the pads I am using:
Massive, Ace, Sawer, Absynth, Reaktor, Alchemy and then I have stacked them up inside a sesson of Kontakt. To make a rich carpet.
For the strings I am using:
Session strings, EWQL Symphonic Orchestra PRO, ViR2 and again stacked up inside a few sessions of Kontakt. I have tried to build up pretty real structure there, so I kind of picked each instrument from each library to make it fit the whole ambience.

    Cheerz :)

Nice stuff. Though I think it could use a little 'organic' touch. Like record one or more sounds through a guitar amp (if you have one), to get a more analog feel to it. Or something like that. There's a lot you could do and it could be one small detail that can give the whole thing that little organic nudge.
