Hey Guys it have been allong allong time since i have been on the forum, i was reading some topics but never really have the time to reply, was mega busy building my new & first mini studio...

anyway i don't know if everybody knows this, but i got involved with music while i was an EDM (Trance,House...) lover then i was interested by other genres, finally i came across Metal, and i love it more when League of Legends Studio Released this Epic Metal Album Game-Related (i'll post a link at the end of my Topic), it was a mind blowing, i was making some metal stuff (learning) using Virtual instruments, was cool at the beginning, but i released if i want metal i'll need to learn the real thing, it happens that a friend of i is selling his Guitar, so i asked some money from here and there and bought it,

it was clean at first but later it became dirty with all that annoying dust and stuff, so i decided to clean it up, i started but changing the Strings, bought new onces, and all was good until i took off the EMG Pickup if the first one next to the Floyd-rose system, yeah and btw it was a Floyd-Rose systen and i had no F*cking idea ho to tune this, anyway

My Guitar Model is this : Jackson JS32 Dinky SBK http://www.thomann.de/gb/jackson_js32_dinky_sbk.htm

My Pickup is kinda like this one : http://www.emgpickups.com/89.html but with wires ( 1big red, and one big wire that other wires are getting out from it multicolors

My Guitar Has 3 Cales 1 Big Red with another Big Black bith with 2 type of wires getting out from it.

i asked the guy who did sell it to me, he was out of town but he did send me this : http://www.sonic.net/~emgman/pdf/89%20as%20humbucker%20only%201v%201t.pdf

But Guess what ? i didn't get a thing from that, so what i'm asking here what wires should i put together and what should i seal and what should i put in together.

Please guys give me some kind of step to step tutorial or anything that can help me fixing it...

i'll try to post some pic if possible !

    @ Mr Lyann Music,

Firstly, from what I can see, your 'EMG 89' Pickup can be used as an 'Active' Humbucker (hence the connector provided for the '9V Battery'), whereas I can only suppose that the original 'Jackson' Humbuckers provided with your 'Jackson JS32 Dinky SBK' must to be 'Passive' ones. *yes*

Anyway, now the first question you must to ask to yourself is : would you to handle the fact to disassemble the cover at the rear of your guitar each time that you must to change that '9V Battery', or rather to use your 'EMG 89' Pickup as a (standard) 'Passive' Humbucker. *yes*
The difference between 'Active' and 'Passive' Pickups is that the 'Active' one is pre-amped (hence the need of that '9V Battery'), whereas the 'Passive' one not...

    For reference :

'What’s the Difference Between Active & Passive Guitar Pickups?'

    Dynamics vs. Balance
:excl: "Passive pickups are responsive to the intensity and technique of your attack. In other words, your sound will reflect whether you play lightly or intensely.
With active pickups, the overall sound is much more even. Whether you play lightly or intensely, and no matter where you fret, the tonal character of each note will, more or less, be the same..."
    :excl:

With this in mind, if you want to better reproduce your guitar playing techniques or specific effects, you know...
And don't forget that you can always use some 'Booster', 'Treble Booster' Pedals, or other similar effects to 'boost' the sound output of your guitar while keeping the expressiveness of your own guitar playing ! *yes*

Now concerning the wiring, it seems to me at a first glance, and according to the '.pdf' document provided, that's rather easy to understand...

    * The Blue and the Orange cables must to be sealed together with a piece of tape
    * The Yellow and the White must to be sealed (at their extremities) with a piece of tape (each one separately !)
    * The Green is that one that must be welded to the 'Volume' Knob and to its 'Hot' Connector
    * The Uninsulated must also be welded to the 'Volume' Knob (but not in a specific place of the 'Volume' Knob)

    P.S:
The topology for describing the Pickups of a guitar are :

    * Neck : the Pickup near to the neck of the guitar.
    * Middle : the Pickup placed in the middle position (mainly when 3 Pickups are available as commonly found in the 'Fender Stratocaster' guitars or similar).
    * Bridge : the Pickup near to the Vibrato System (as it's the case with your 'EMG 89' Humbucker and your under License 'Floyd-Rose' System).

First of all i really wanna thank you about all that, i kinda did understood something or two from what you said, and yes the Red wire from my EMG pickup was directly wired to the "9V Battery" and yeah the original owner of the Guitar did make some changes to match his style & playing style anyway,

let me tell you what i got from your words, there is 2 types of Pickups, 1 Passive & Active, Passive are more Responsive to my playing while the active are preampred from the 9V Battery to export the same preamped signals, what i can confirm is that my EMG Pickup is an Active because it was directly wired with the 9V Battery, so i'll try to tell what from my understanding how i should wire the EMG Pickup,

i'll draw some Paint pic to make it easy to understand :
