    My setup

    • PC monitor - displayed as ID 2
    • TV - displayed as ID 1

    my graphic card is ATI.

    Problem

When I start Cubase, splash screen is on my TV, because it's recognized as ID 1...

    Solution

Go to Catalyst center on display settings and then do option: SWAP on display ID 2... that way display ID 2 becomes ID 1...
After that, PC monitor is ID 1 and you must check "This is my primary monitor".

After doing this, when I run cubase, splash is shown on my PC monitor.

Yeah. That's how using multiple monitors works. This can also be accomplished in the "screen resolution" page within windows.

Huh? :wow: OK... True that. Not really a reason to make a new thread, though.

Maybe I'm dumb... I don't know, but I have never had any troubles with multiple monitors setup with any of software except Cubase. Just I have not remembered that problem can be in monitor identification (1/2) because I'm not using second monitor (TV) for production, only for watching movies.
So reason for opening this is just that... maybe there is some dumber than me! Who knows!
