macs can and do get viruses, of course there isnt as many as windows given that macs only have 4% of the desktop computer market, so of course there arent as many....

as for rare to crash, if you mean bluescreen/kernel panic , my windows 7 64bit install has'nt seen a bluescreen yet, and the mac next to it has had maybe 5 kernel panics in the same few months of uptime...

both arguments are completely pointless at any rate.

each have their pluses and minuses, but an experienced user of either knows how to prevent problems.

so, don't start the pc vs mac bullshit round here, all it will do is prove how little you know!

like why get a mac if you need software? there isn't much headroom in terms of options there.
at least mac users can run a windows OS if they really need too.
