I've just finished a melbourne bounce track. yes, it's unoriginal, but i wanted to try. Can i have some of your feedbacks guys?

I feel like something is not right but i can't figure what it is:/ Can you help me?

The lead that starts @ 1:04 maybe is a bit too loud and too dry (a bit more of reverb would do the trick). And I think it sounds out of tune with the bassline.

Which limiter and which settings did you use? I downloaded the song and it goes into the red, digital clippen. I get readings of +1.2 dBFS in Reaper.

The filter on 1:55 causes serious distortion.

Melody is nice for this type of music, the panning of the FX is nice. And I like the variation in the song; several leads prevents to make it boring.

I added some reverb to the lead, not that much cause with too much reverb (in my opinion) you loose some punch. Some malicious f# were hidden in the melody, i replaced them with simple F and now it sounds much better with the bass and the kick.
I fixed the filter distortion (too much sausage fattener can kill your sausage kids )

For the limiter i use the AOM Invisible Limiter. When i open this new version of the track in my Ableton Live i don't see any clipping. But i Would Be very happy if you could open it in your DAW and tell me if it turns red.

What reverb plugin do you use? I use Rob Papen Verb RP-Verb but it doesn't sound that good on distorted leads. If you have some tips and tricks about reverb i'd be very happy.

The filter distortion is fixed indeed, great!

The peaks don't exceed 0.0 dBFS in my DAW (Reaper), that's better too. You must have changed something on the limiter. But I think it's a good idea to put the limiter @ -0.2 or 0.3 dBFS.

Melody sounds good now.

The reverb sounds good. I really like all valhalla reverb plugins. Of course you don't need lots of reverb on your leads. Maybe it's even beter to use a subtle delay (with or without a bit of feedback).

Sorry for the late reply but my best friend is moving out and stuff so...

Sounds like it could get in the charts on beatport, but i dont know if thats a good thing or not
