anyone care to pass on some advice for using the SND Pace Ilok patcher ? I am generally able to figure this kind of stuff out with some google searching, and experimenting but I cannot find anything other than this http://vstaudioplugins.blogspot.com/2009/09/pace-ilok-generic-trial-patcher-10-tool.html which does not help give any useful advice for getting this to work. Also I have clicked back up several times and it never seems to back anything up.

Any help would be amazing, thanks for your time

 

And yes I am using it to patch the .dll file. . I did get that far. . it just never seems to do anything, even when it says it has.

 

And standalone exe files
The idea with the snd patcher is to make ilok plugins in time limited demo-mode become "registered" it does that when you patched the dll exe and sometimes even vst3 files.

When it was released in (2008-9 dont remember)
you could patch many ilok protected plugins almost everyone except waves and a few more.

Since then the list of plugins you could NOT patch has grown and many of those is the ones you could patch before they simply made something in an update so it couldnt be patched anymore.

I saw a list of patchable plugins some years ago

The idea is awesome as you dont have to wait for some group release if the developer have a timelimited demo to dl on their website.

 

I gave it a go on windows 7 64bit and windows XP with pro tools 8 and 9 and it didn't do anything. I t said it patched successfully but didn't work on both OS.

 

I thought it was only for Mac

 

and for PC users too.

If you have installed COMODO Firewall don't work.
