I'm just trying Sonarworks Reference 3 headphone calibration, a simple plugin which calibrates your headphone response as a flat curve
something I was looking for a long time
I'm very impressed by it and happy to have the chance to use my Sennheiser 280hd headphones as a monitor reference
they really made a great job!!!

    just a question:
do you think I have to put the plugin after or before the analyzer in the master bus?
I'm quite unsure if it's better to have a spectrum of the sound without being affected or not by the Reference...

what do you thnik about it?

frisbi, given that the plugin equalizes the frequency response curve of your headphones towards neutrality you have to put it after the analyzer for sure. Because you want the analyzer to analyze the real frequency content of the music and not the content adapted to your headphones. Otherwise the analyzer curve would make no sense on any other system, be it headphones or loudspeakers.
