Just want to see who has it up and running with no problems and who is having issues?

Those of you who have it working did you need to do anything out of the ordinary ?

Those of you who have it working as normal with no issues or no special installation procedures what system/DAW's you on?

Seems to be a lot of yes and nos on the upload thread just curious to see if I should wait a little longer. I have not updated since r17 and I really want vitamin and dbx160.

    Thnx

    Yep, Time to Update.
V9R25 was a bit shaky, but V9R26 is working like a charm!

R24 is pretty stable, the last couple have had some minor issues, the latest appears to show lots of peeps not being able to install correctly

edit: just installed and all working ok including the new plugin

    @ Webshark,

So Yes, it can be a great deal for you to update your 'Waves' Plugins with that new Version, and not only due to 'dbx160', 'Vitamin', and the recent 'Butch Vig Vocals', but also because several Updates (and some rather major) are available since the 'v9r17'... *yes*

As you're using 2 different DAWs which use different Formats for their Plugins, nothing better than install that new Version : 'v9r26', and simply see if all is working fine for you... *yes*
I mean, as 'Pro Tools' uses the '.aax' Format and 'Cubase' the '.dll' and/or '.vst3' Formats, you can get the answer by yourself... if one of these Formats doesn't work properly while the other(s) are working fine... you guess ! *yes*

    EDIT :

    For Info :

Hey thanks man.. Yea I am just a little nervous because of all the people having issues. Regarding Pro Tools I am more concerned about the RTAS ones as Im still using pT10 more than 11 unless waves have included 32bit AAX?

Are you guys doing clean installs or is it ok to go over the r17.. I know ive asked that same question in the past but i know it changes from update to update.

do a clean install, as the patching / activation is now different, make sure to read the nfo and follow the install instructions properly, you have to manually place the waveshells into their correct folders
note that there are 2 different waveshells (vst), 9.3.dll and 9.61.dll, you need both

Ok cool do they both go in same directory or is that made clear in the nfo file? For the RTAS do they take care of themselves? Anyone here using them fine in Pro Tools.?

yes, _x86 go into their respective folder and same for _x64, aax etc. just read and follow nfo instructions

you will find the waveshells located inside the main waves installation folder

I'm having a lot of trouble getting Waves Complete V9R26 installed onto my Mac.

I swear I've followed the instructions and believe I've done it right but its not happening.

Licences wont verify, I've ran the patch and copied the file into the waveshells folder. Then ran the AU register utility. Is there something else I have to do guys?

The text file says authorize and enjoy, is there something else I have to do to authorize?!

    I'd appreciate any advice.

    Cheers

Hey guys I have gotten around to this yet as I been busy. Probably tomorrow. But I just noticed something in the instructions that might be causing issues for some people. It seems as though the have the directories for x64 and x86 backwards in the instructions. See here.

has anyone else experienced the licence file not found recently?

Waves stopped working yesterday (no licence file found) when opening my DAW, no registered device and no licence appears in waves licence center, yet the file was in the correct folder (and had been there, when I first installed). Up unto yesterday it had worked flawlessly, my DAW does not have access to the internet, and the strange thing is I was not using any waves plugins yesterday morning, closed Daw, restarted it a couple of hours later and got the no waves licence message when starting? I've managed to get it going again after several attempts at reinstalling but only using the r24 patch and without using the licence generator and not installing licence center, although it appears this is installed anyway even if you do not select it. Apart from looking at the usual webpages with firefox, the only other thing running was my DAW yesterday morning

I installed r26 a week ago, wondering if there is possibly a call home feature that waves has now implemented with checking licences? or was my mac address somehow refused by waves when starting? I did not check this as I now have waves working again

    weird . . . . :dunno:
