Good morning everybody, I downloaded the Piano in Blue v2 of the Cinesamples from kickass but I keep getting a samples missing loading error, can anyone help me out please?
This is the error I get:

if I press skip missing I can't hear any samples' sound, and it's not an antivirus problem.

... and here's how the folder came from, I didn't edit anything. I wonder what the hell are those .wav files over there

Browse folder and select library folder. *yes*

 

in the frist pic you see resolve manually / under it click >> browse folder and chouse were the folder is.

Also when you get the missing sample error, if you don't want to have to select the folder every time => batch recompress. It will never ask you again afterwards

 

To save the new nki file when you get it working,
on top of kontakt press the ( files ) tab
this will open a drop down box,
look for save as and when you put your mouse pointer on it
the name of the nki file will show up just press it.
Then on the box that opens you will see / patch only and under it absolute sample paths,
tick them and press save and yes to replace the old one,
i do this with all kontakt libraries it saves alot of time loading them in.

... and there is another one, batch re save

 

Save .nki > (Re)Saves the .nki
Save with samples > What it says (.nki + .wav samples in another folder)
Batch compress > Collect and resave numerous .nkis/samples and choose whether to covert to .wav or .ncw (lossless compression to reduce library size on the disk/RAM)
Batch resave > (Re)Save numerous .nkis (Faster loading and resolves samples missing errors being shown every time you load the .nki because it keeps the path)

I'd advise you to keep the original .nkis in a rar. Especially if they are Kontakt version 4 or previous and you have legacy projects.

Grab the original release. It's called " Cinesamples.Piano.in.Blue.V2.KONTAKT-SCHNiTZ3L" and was an Internal release on T.A.S. at first. I have it and it's all good to go, nothing missing at all. Or you can try the different methods already explained here but as a point of rule, NEVER download a repack, you never know what you are getting. Good luck!

 

Not a bad idea, I think the torrent you're talking about was removed but I found an .iso file with a decent number of seeders, so thanks for the advice I'm gonna grab it

edit: Do I need the version 1 of this piano in blue too, maybe?

 

I believe they are separate products completely, so V2 does not rely on having V1 (although they probably share some of the same samples).... It would just resave the NKI with a different name with absolute sample paths once you have located the missing samples, and after that it should load no problem... usually works for me! (but I am on OSX, so not sure if anything different in PC land...)

 

You have a very "unusual" path to Your library... ?!?

try to rename your directory to ie. "Piano in Blue 2" and than move it where You have all the other libraries.
get rid of all the other unneeded directories (you have 3 cascaded dirs named the same ... keep only the last one and rename it to something simpler like Piano in Blue 2 )

Clean Your registry and the xml in common files; and try to add the lib. in kontakt again.
