I hope it gets incorporated into the next ableton upgrade *yes*

 

It is already. The algorithm in the recent updates is the same old (and already great as is),
update bring fully scalable GUI and various fixes - performance enhancements too.

Thanks for the info, I can't keep up with their updates lately, 5 updates in the last week since 1.3.x launch!
TheDrop was updated as well to 1.0.11 today.

Hmmm, does that mean we're going to see Cytomic EQ as VST in the future? ;) That sounds interesting.

 

I thought the same when I first read that time ago. Interesting indeed.
I would love Cytomic take on a full EQ plug, Andy have some serious skills at DSP.
And at coding CPs as well

 

Anything Cytomic made is and sounds great. I like that approach so much - make one plugin but make it the best. Unlike "some" really huge companies. I'm sure if he made an EQ it would rock and industrial big time! Pretty much like DMG. I love their plugins so much. Guys like that deserve all the support we can deliver to them. Be it financial or PR.

Changes in v1.3.18:

• Reduced oversampler latency to use the lowest possible to support current realtime and render oversampling amounts.
• Added advanced setting to allow dynamic updating of latency when switching between realtime and render – note: very few hosts support this, so this setting has to be manually changed in the settings.xml config file.
• Fixed: uninitialised variable in linear phase oversampler.

Changes in v1.3.17:

• Fixed: uninitialised variable in minimum and intermediate phase oversampler.
• Note: switched to using VS2015 for Windows Builds to work around static c runtime shutdown problems with the JUCE library using VS2012.

Changes in v1.3.16:

• New: minimum phase and intermediate phase modes for oversampling.
• New: global CPU meter.
