I don't have PT11, but I have some working AAX plugs. I know the R2R Izotope stuff works in AAX. So does the Waves v9 bundle. Surprised to hear about PSP. I can't even get RTAS working in PT10 with them. They freeze up my computer to the point I need to do a hard shutdown.

PSP AAX works fine in PT11, I think that was indeed troublesome in PT10 if I remember correctly.

 

Well now you made me doubt my memory. I'll check after work.

Edit: Kidding about after work. I decided to take a minute before getting ready to make sure I know what I'm talking about. Definitely have the AAX Waveshell (I know I never put it in unused). Unless there's something else going on that I don't know about, Waves bundle works in AAX. I think it was an R2R release and the newest repack I could find at the time (which was a little less than a year ago). I don't know if there are other teams doing it.

 

Hmmmz, I have the AAX Waveshell installed, but it gives me a nag screen about missing licenses for the plugs that I don't own (I own the diamond bundle) and I am indeed not able to use these in PT11. As far as I know the R2R patch leaves the AAX waveshell untouched.

Will look into that again! Maybe I'm doing something wrong!

Edit: nope, no luck! Can you tell me how you got it to work?

 

If someone can tell me how to get Waves v9 AAX working in PT 11 as well as other AAX plugins that would be awesome! I just upgraded to PT 11 without knowing that I can't use cracked AAX plugins. Totally my own fault

I have Kontakt 5.3.1 and Waves 9.3 (Mercury)

Plug and Mix works in Pro Tools 11. Waves AAX is not cracked and won't work in Pro Tools 11. You may have Waves in Pro Tools 10, but it would be RTAS, not AAX.

 

I have Pro tools 11 as-well and I wonder if it will be possible to buy one of those wrappers( Bluecat Patchwork is my favourite) then install VST version so you can use it in Pro tool 11

I am yet to try this, but it could be our only guarantee way

 

Patchwork will most definitely do this. I have it and it works. Instruments too. I use Kontakt in PT every day through BC Patchwork.

 

Patchwork works perfectly in any cases.

Lots of people are pissed off by the fact that the new Waves all bundle release don't work in PT11.

By the way, you just have to open the waveshell.vst through Patchwork, then you have a list of all the waves plug ins installed. Just have to pick the one you want to use.

I use Patchwork and patchwork synth with a lot of AU and VST stuff. it always works even with a big KONTAKT instance.

it's the most useful plug-in i've ever seen. brilliant.

 

Sampletank 3 work well with Pro tools 11. I just tried that out

You have to purchase the AAX version of Patchwork.

 

Is there anyone who knows if the Waves AAX crack is on it's way?
