How to make this tone with trilian-waves-LPX plugins?

    For that kind of music style, only picked bass work(talkin about electric bass), and push up the mids-himids for presence.

    Take a 5-string electric bass and play the lowest string (even tune/drop it down further) 16ths with a pick. Run it through compressor, overdrive/saturation and an Aphex exciter (excite lows and highs). Maybe Eq to taste (cut mids, AKA smiley-face eq). Or push some 90 and 3k.

    I doubt very much that trillian will achieve this.

    In Flames? They formed in 1990 and this is from their 8th album (released 2006).
    Not so young anymore. Maybe still anxious.
