Help with drums

    Hi folks,

    Currently i'm more and more in the studio and I always find to have 1 problem.
    My drums somehow sound, well bad to me.

    I have some examples of tracks where I find the drums sound bad.

    I'm I using too much wet signal of the reverbs, bad EQ??

    If you have a fairly decent drum set that is tuned up nicely,that's about half the job already. Some decent mics and preamps would be the other half.

    Try reading up about different drum micing techniques as well. The Glynn Johns method is quite a nice way that I'd use often.
