Hey guys,


I have been searching through each post about cracking Kontakt 5, but I couldn't find my specific answer there. My question is how can I get the cracked Kontakt to show up as a plugin in Logic X? I have legit Kontakt installed, but the cracked version will not appear as a plugin. It works in standalone, however.

I have put the cracked version in Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST, Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, Applications/Logic Pro X/Contents, and Applications/Logic Pro X/Contents/Plug-Ins. None of them have worked thus far.

Usually I can figure these kinds of things out, but I'm completely stumped.

desinstall non cracked, install cracked.
replace only au (library/audio/plug-ins/components
Different versions can be an issue and the cracked installation is different from the factory

 

also- it should be noted that VST's will NOT open in Logic natively !

 

All you have to do to is put the 'Cracked' version in ROOT - LIBRARY - AUDIO - PLUG INS - COMPONENTS - in Logic X prefs go to Audio Unit Manager - Then select Kont then reset scan selection and it should be fine. All versions of Kontakt regardless of payment method run like shit in my opinion even on new computers. The plug in folders def are confusing if you're new to the game . You can also get this tool called batchmod and highlight any part of Kont that isn't working drag it into the batchmod app check everything hit ok . I really don't know what it does beyond giving you ownership but it def fixes various issues I've had with Kont in Logic X . Good luck , btw batch mod can be found here and it's free .

Applications/Logic Pro X/Contents, and Applications/Logic Pro X/Contents/Plug-Ins?Delete those two that you installed in Logic folder in Applications.

Instead Replace Standalone app in Applications/Native Instruments/Kontakt 5 with the crack app/replace components/vst/dpm/with the cracks (after installation). Follow the rest from nycdl post.

Thank you guys for the replies. I have tried everything each of you have suggested multiple times, but it still won't work. Now I'm wondering if I downloaded the right cracked kontakt. I got mine from this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpYh2yIXp7M Is that the "right one"?

Ok guys, so I redownloaded Kontakt 5 from audioZ, and it's still not working. Right now, I cannot open it in standalone mode. However, it loads fine in Logic. Here's something very interesting: my legit Kontakt was the latest version and the cracked Kontakt is a slightly older version. When I refreshed the AU, I could actually see the version change in the box. In other words, the cracked version appears to be in Logic currently. But, it still has my cracked plugins in demo mode. Do you guys know why that is?

 

During one year my Kontakt was working bad because sometimes you change the locations of the native files.
What you should is desinstall everything, aslo hidden files and preferences.
Do you use Littlesnitch?
