    Hi to all :)

I have a nice question, when you put your sidechain on your drop synths?

Before the Reverb and other effects or after the all effects?

Open buss channel, add the reverb, after I add eq to the buss channel at least I put the sidecahin.
And add the reverb buss as a send.

SCC usually last (last on grouped synths and reverb).
It depends on what I want to do. Sometimes on just on synths, sometimes on only reverb. But usually on both.

    -in the channel before Sidechain

    -in the channel after Sidechain

    -in the FX sends

For progressive house what's the best?
I split it to low, mid, and high.
For the highs what's the best?

On EDM tracks I usually do two sidechains, which really helps clean up the mix:

    - One on the dry synth at the end of the effects chain (put any EQ, distortion etc before it)
    - One on the Send Reverb (also at the end of the chain).
    - (and also one on the delay send if there is one)

That way I can use crazy amounts of compressed reverb and it still stays "under control". Also using slightly different settings on the sidechain of each can give more interesting effects (faster attack/release on one than the other for example)

I use my reverb over all the other effects except for EQ sometimes. Really depends on how you want to process the sound, but for drops that's how I do it most of the times
